Familiar strangers.

We met as friends and parted strangers,
Our relationship brought too many dangers.
We talked late into the night,
Our conversations leading to scandal and fright.
I had to break it off before long,
because I realized it was wrong.
Now I pass you on the track,
my face not to see, but my back.
And now I know you are a fink,
I wish we didn't share a rink.
